More Changes

I returned to the classroom as a paraprofessional, but the class did not provide me the opportunites to use the things I am learning in our classes. As a matter of fact, it became a bit overwhelming very quickly. That being said, I will not continue as a paraprofessional at this time, but will be returning as a substitute teacher three or four days a week and will spend the other days observing where I can and learning from veteran teachers as much as possible. One very valuable thing I learned from this short time as a paraprofessional; I do not want to teach elementary school, at least not K-3rd grade. I hope to be back and blogging very soon about the things I am learning, observing, and using as I spend some much needed time in the classroom.
